PLEASE NOTE: The December 2024 meetup deviates from our normal "last Tuesday" schedule, to avoid falling on New Years Eve. It is taking place a day before on Monday December 30th, at the usual time and place.
RainSec is an informal group of like-minded security professionals who meet to network and discuss topics of interest in a non-work, non-vendor setting.
While our target audience is experienced information security professionals, this is a public event open to any interested parties. If you have a friend or colleague who might benefit, please pass an invite along. We meet outside under a covered/heated patio area to reduce risk of COVID transmission. Minors are permitted but cannot consume alcohol (duh!).
Our meetup does not require RSVPs or accepted membership, so the RSVP count here and on other sites is never representative of the group that shows up. We typically see between 40-60 people each month.
