The European social media market is worth tens of billions annually, with nearly all of it flowing to Big Tech. Eurosky will enable European startups to reclaim this market share while creating jobs, giving users control, protecting democratic discourse, and preventing the platform lock-in that created today's monopolies.
Our first Eurosky Live conference will take place in Berlin on 19 November 2025. The conference will explore the open social web and how Eurosky’s digital building blocks could power 'Trusted European Platforms'.
Eurosky Live sits alongside the French-German Digital Sovereignty Summit (18 Nov) and feeds into the preparation of the EU's Democracy Shield, as announced by President von der Leyen.
